Natalia LL (Poland *1937)

The beginning of Natalia LL's career was marked by a collaboration with the Polish conceptual art movement. In a later phase of Natalia LL's career, bodily pleasures and a narcissistic attitude gave way to depictions of ugliness, suffering and the fear of death.

"Consumer Art" is a series of photographic artworks and videos showing Natalia LL in somewhat pornographic poses, for example eating a banana, and thereby exposing changes of meanings of a simple act of consumption.
