Lachen
Performance

"How would I describe myself? Am I the person with brown hair? The one with style? The person with a mustache and a smoking pipe? No. I would describe myself as the person laughing. As the person who likes to laugh. Who is often seen laughing. Lachen (Laughing) is a performance about the act of laughing. Antonia Baehr studies laughing as a form of expression in its own right, independent of causes - jokes, stories, humor and joy – focusing on the act itself: the sound, the form, the music, the choreography, the rhythm and the gestures of laughing. It is not her intention to amuse us, but laughter is contagious!"
